and all that jazz

Come on babe
Why don’t we paint the town
And all that jazz

We just returned from seeing Chicago at the Fox Theater.

I’m gonna rouge my knees
And roll my stockings down
And all that jazz

It was my first time seeing the show, other than the movie.

Start the car
I know a whoopee spot
Where the gin is cold
But the piano’s hot

It was good. The woman who played Mama was fabulous. “Velma” and “Roxie” were great, too.

It’s just a noisy hall
Where there’s a nightly brawl

And now, I must be off to sleepy land so I can work tomorrow.

And all.
That.
Jazz.
